The Word of God, the creator of everything, took flesh from a human He created. Our Lord visits us not virtually but in person. His visit blessed our world and restored to us the corrupted nature. His visit enabled us to live in communion with God. By His coming, we can eat and drink his body and blood. If he was not real, then what we have is not His body and blood. Then we have no communion with Him. If we have no communion with Him then we are still dead as Adam.
