“It is not holy to worship a mere man, but neither is it pious to state that he is only God, excluding his humanity; for, even if Christ were fully God–as he really is- -but had not assumed humanity, we would be estranged from salvation. Let us worship him as God but believe also that he was made man. It is not useful to assert that he is man, while prescinding from divinity; neither is it helpful to salvation to confess his divinity without confessing his humanity.”

Cyril of Jerusalem, Catecheses 12, 1; PG 33, 728 A.

Many of us know Christ is God, but we hardly believe He was God and man. Do you really believe that Christ was a man? He experienced all your weaknesses, doubts, insecurities, and everything you are going through.
