“He is Son of man because the Virgin is a human creature. That which is born of flesh is flesh; that which is born of a human being is called man.”Ambrose of Milan, Enarratio in Psalmum 39, 18; PL 14, I 115.
I always wondered why we forget that Christ we a man. In a real man‘s life, he eats, drinks, suffers, becomes happy, becomes sad, and dies. As a Son of man He went through everything we are going through.
