“He is Son of man because the Virgin is a human creature. That which is born of flesh is flesh; that which is born of a human being is called man.”
Ambrose of Milan, Enarratio in Psalmum 39, 18; PL 14, I 115.
I always wondered why we forget that Christ we a man. In a real man‘s life, he eats, drinks, suffers, becomes happy, becomes sad, and dies. As a Son of man He went through everything we are going through.

It’s easy to get stuck focusing on the divinity of Christ but he truly was fully human too and shared in all our suffering. Thanks for posting.
Thank you scbilder for your comment. Very true. Jesus is Emmanual, i.e. God is with us. He shared with us everything, including our suffering.
