Mary was a model to Christian’s in that she was humble and showed humility although she was highly honored to be the mother of Jesus, As such, she is to be honored but not worshipped as some do. Only Gid is to be worshipped.
That is exactly my goal. I am hoping that revisiting the church fathers’ writings would clarify that.
